Hudson & Tate is operated by MBZ Commerce, a company registered in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. We were founded on the belief that the most enduring style has always come from the water's edge, from the people who built, sailed, and worked the great harbours of the world.

We take our name from the Hudson River, the waterway that runs through the heart of New York. The brand itself was born in Rotterdam, the largest working port in Europe. Two waterfronts shaped by trade, water, and a no-nonsense relationship with quality. It is a tension we find endlessly inspiring: the ambition of the new world, the craft of the old.

There is a particular quality to maritime clothing. It was never designed to impress. It was designed to perform.
